Frequently asked questions
Booking
- Do I need an account to book? No. Book with your name and email; the confirmation goes to that address. If you later sign in with the same email, the booking is already there.
- Is there a deposit? No. Nothing is charged online for a treatment — you settle in the studio after it.
- Can I choose my aesthetician? Yes, or pick “first available” for the most times to choose from.
- How far ahead can I book? Up to 60 days, and no less than two hours before the time.
Changing and cancelling
- Can I cancel online? Yes, up to 24 hours before your appointment, from your account or the app.
- And closer than that? Please call the studio on +1 347-247-6381 — the online window will have closed, and a cancelled slot is somebody else’s chance to come in.
- Can I move a booking? Cancel and rebook online if it’s more than 24 hours away; otherwise call and we’ll move it for you.
Paying and products
- How do I pay for a treatment? In the studio, by card or cash.
- Can I buy products in the app? The app shows the shelf; purchases are made on this website, where a product page has an “Add to bag” button and checkout is by card through Stripe.
- Do you sell gift cards? Yes — see Gift cards.
Your account and messages
- I never set a password. There isn’t one. Signing in sends a six-digit code to your email; type it and you’re in.
- Which messages will I get? Only what you’ve chosen — booking confirmations and changes, notes from the studio, and order updates, by text and by email. Change any of it in your account or in the app, or reply STOP to any text.
- Where is my history? Appointments, orders and studio purchases are all under your account.
Deleting your account and data
You can have your account and everything we hold about you deleted at any time — your name, email address, phone number, appointment history, the notes on your appointments, your message preferences and your order records. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
To request deletion, email us at contact@siasbeautynyc.com from the address on your account, with the subject line “Account deletion request” — the subject is how we tell these requests apart from everything else, so please include it exactly. You can also use the contact form and choose “Delete my account and data”.
We will confirm the request to the same address, delete the account within 30 days, and write to you once it is done. Some records are kept longer where the law requires it — the invoice for an order you paid for, for instance — and those are kept without your account attached. Anything already in a message we sent you (a confirmation email, a text) stays where you have it.
