Sia's Beauty NYC is a skincare studio in New York City. This policy is the privacy policy of Sia's Beauty NYC and covers this website, our booking system and the messages we send you. It is written in plain terms because we would rather you actually read it.

This page is the only privacy policy governing Sia's Beauty NYC and its text-message programme. Nothing else supersedes it, and no other document applies to the messages we send you.

Communication and booking services for Sia's Beauty NYC are provided by JKTravel LLC. JKTravel LLC supplies the means of contact only — the messaging and booking infrastructure — and does not use client information for its own purposes, does not sell or share it, and does not have access to treatment records, appointment conversations, purchases or accounts. Questions about the messaging itself can be sent to info@jktravelllc.com; anything about your appointments, orders or records goes to the studio direct, on the telephone number and email address it publishes.

What we collect

• Your name, email address and phone number, when you book a treatment, place an order or create an account.
• What you booked or bought — the treatment, the length, the date, the aesthetician, and the items in an order.
• What you tell us — skin concerns, sensitivities, requests, and anything you write to us on an appointment thread.
• Payment status, but never your card. Online payments are handled by Stripe; we see whether a payment succeeded and never the card number.

Why we hold it

To take and keep your booking, to prepare for your treatment, to send you confirmations and receipts, to answer you, and to keep the records a business has to keep. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not run behavioural tracking on this site.

Your phone number

Sia's Beauty NYC uses your phone number to reach you about your own appointments and orders: a confirmation when you book, a message when something moves or is cancelled, and a note from the studio when there is something you need to know before you come in. You agree to this by ticking the box when you book, and you can withdraw it at any moment.

To stop the messages, reply STOP to any text, use the link at the bottom of any email, or enter your number on our unsubscribe page. You can turn individual kinds of message on and off in your account. Sign-in codes are not marketing and continue to arrive, because without them you cannot get into your account.

The text-message programme

Stated in full, because this is the document a mobile carrier reads before it will carry our messages:

• What it is. Sia's Beauty NYC sends text messages about your own appointments: a confirmation when you book, a message when an appointment is moved or cancelled, a change of status, and notes from the studio about a treatment you have booked. It is not a marketing programme and it never sends offers.
• How you join it. By ticking the consent box yourself when you book, online or at the front desk. Consent is never a condition of booking a treatment or buying anything, and it is never assumed from a booking made before the box existed.
• How often. Message frequency varies — in practice a handful of messages per appointment, and none between visits.
• Cost. Message and data rates may apply, according to your own mobile plan. We do not charge for messages.
• To stop. Reply STOP to any message. You can also use the link in any email, our unsubscribe page, or the switches in your account.
• For help. Reply HELP to any message, email contact@siasbeautynyc.com, or call +1 347-247-6381.
• What we do with the number. We use it to send those messages and nothing else. It is not sold, not rented, not shared for marketing, and not passed to anyone beyond the provider that delivers the message.

Who else is involved

We use a small number of services to run the studio, and each of them sees only what it needs to do its job: Stripe for online payments, Resend for email, Twilio for text messages, and Turso for the database that holds your bookings. None of them is permitted to use your details for their own marketing. We do not sell your personal information to anybody.

The studio’s communication and booking services are provided by JKTravel LLC, which is the company the text-message programme is registered to. Its role is the means of contact and nothing else. JKTravel LLC does not have access to your account, your appointment conversations, your treatment records or your purchases, does not use your details for any purpose of its own, and does not sell or share them. Everything described in this policy stays with Sia's Beauty NYC. If you have a question about the messaging itself, write to info@jktravelllc.com; for anything else — your appointments, your orders, what we hold about you — use the studio’s own telephone and email, which are the contacts for this business.

How long we keep it

Appointment and purchase records are kept while you are a client and afterwards for as long as tax and business record-keeping requires. Consent and unsubscribe records are kept indefinitely on purpose — deleting the record that you asked us to stop is how a studio starts messaging somebody again by accident.

What you can ask for

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop messaging you. Write to us and we will do it. Deleting your details ends any appointment we are holding for you, so we will confirm before we do that.

Children

This site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their details. Treatments for minors are arranged with a parent or guardian in the studio.
