Booking a treatment

A booking made here holds a specific time with a specific aesthetician. No payment is taken online for treatments — you settle in the studio. Prices and lengths shown at the time of booking are the ones that apply to that appointment, even if the menu changes afterwards.

You may cancel or move an appointment yourself up to 24 hours before it starts. Inside that window, please call the studio; a chair held for somebody who does not arrive is a chair nobody else could book.

Buying products

Online orders are paid through Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Prices are in US dollars and are re-checked on our own server when you check out, so the price you are charged is always the price in our catalogue. If something is out of stock after you order, we will contact you and refund it.

Studio purchases and packages

Anything bought at the front desk — including a package of several treatments — is recorded against your account, and you can see what remains at any time. A package has no cash value, is not transferable, and is used up as the treatments are taken.

Text messages

By ticking the consent box when you book, you agree to the following:

• What the programme sends. Messages about your own appointments only: a confirmation when you book, a message when an appointment is moved or cancelled, a change of status, and a note from the studio about a treatment you have booked. It is not a marketing list and we do not send offers.
• How often. Message frequency varies. In practice it is a handful of messages per appointment, and none at all between visits.
• Cost. Message and data rates may apply, according to your own mobile plan. We do not charge you for messages.
• To stop. Reply STOP to any message and we will stop immediately. You can also use the link at the bottom of any email from us, enter your number on our unsubscribe page, or switch individual kinds of message off in your account. Stopping the messages never cancels an appointment.
• For help. Reply HELP to any message, or email noreply@siasbeautynyc.com.
• Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We cannot guarantee that a message arrives, which is why every appointment is also confirmed by email and visible in your account.

Consent to receive messages is never a condition of booking a treatment or buying anything — you can book by telephone or in person without agreeing to it. Your number is never sold, rented or shared for marketing; see our Privacy Policy.

Email

We email confirmations, receipts and shipping updates. Every one of them carries an unsubscribe link, and you can choose which kinds you receive. Sign-in codes are excluded from all of this: they are the thing you asked for at the moment you asked for it, and without them you could not reach your own account.

Your account

There are no passwords here. You sign in with a six-digit code sent to your email address, so keeping that address secure keeps your account secure. Tell us if you lose access to it. Anyone with access to that mailbox can see your bookings and purchases.

Treatments and your skin

Our aestheticians are not doctors and nothing here is medical advice. Tell us about medication, allergies, pregnancy or recent procedures before your treatment — some treatments are unsuitable, and we would rather change the plan than proceed. We may decline or alter a treatment on the day for that reason.

Changes to these terms

We will update this page when things change, and the date at the top tells you when it last happened. If the messaging terms change materially, we will say so in a message before it takes effect.
